Our concept
Several years ago, while browsing for a gourmet gift, we realized that it is rather difficult to find an original and appealing choice. It seemed that the most of on-line selections are based on the same principle. What we can typically find are overloaded, old-fashioned, and strictly pre-arranged basket assortments. Although selections may vary in quality of products, it is clear that the gift basket perception have not changed since its beginnings. This is how our concept was born.
Gift box
One of the main novelties World Gift Box brings is its packaging. Our belief is that gift box, in comparison with gift baskets, offers not only a refreshing visual impression, but it provides a beneficial insulating qualities. Our box is constructed of 5 mm (0.2 inch) thick wood panels. Once it is placed inside of shipping parcel, the box is additionally protected with 0.75 inch thick polyurethane foam. In a case we ship perishable foods, we preserve thermal stability with high quality, non-toxic ice-packs.
Customizable option
Our store offers several different shopping options. You can choose among pre-assembled gift boxes, customize your gift box yourself, or select products individually from our 'All products' list. How does our customizable system works? Once you select a 'Customize gifts' option, you will be able to check any products you want to include in your selection. In order to preserve the basic functionality of your order, we require a minimum of 3 items to be included in the box. If your selection exceeds the size of our box, our software will notify you to modify your assortment. This system gives you control not only of your selection, but also of the cost you are willing to afford.
Product selection
At the moment, our stock holds gourmet food from over 30 countries. In addition, we offer food selections from some of the most characteristic regions of the world, which include include Mediterranean, Latin, Asian, and Scandinavian cuisines. Overall, our goal is to provide as much as more diverse ethnic food assortment and the most popular delicacies from each country or region. This includes well balanced varieties of snack foods, condiments, cheeses, sweets, chocolates, beverages (coffee, tea), spices, sauces, and some of the most representative original national products. Although we try to maintain our selection affordable, there are also choices of more exclusive gourmet delicacies. We are passionate to continuously improve our assortment, and in that regard, we encourage you to provide us with your comments and suggestions.
